The Trust awards grants under the terms of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF), providing funding to a broad range of projects that have as big an impact on the community as possible.
The Trust is committed to supporting community and environmental projects across the UK. These include improving community halls, the creation of new play areas and skate parks, and restoring green spaces.

The Trust meets quarterly.
The deadlines for applications are:
- Deadline 4 Dec 2026 for meeting on 19 Jan 2027
- Deadline 26 Feb 2027 for meeting on 13 Apr 2027
- Deadline 28 May 2027 for meeting on 12 July 2027
- Deadline 3 Sept 2027 for meeting on 19 Oct 2027
- Deadline 3 Dec 2027 for a meeting on 18 Jan 2028
The Trust funds projects within ten miles of Enovert Management Limited’s waste management operations in:
- Billingham (TS23 4HS)
- Cheltenham (GL52 7RS)
- Cirencester (GL7 1YG)
- Colchester (CO3 0NN) (closing January 2027)
- Gloucester (GL2 5FR)
- Lydney (GL14 4EJ)
- Middlesbrough (TS6 6UG)
- Walsall/North Birmingham (WS9 9AH)
Enovert’s Bellhouse Landfill Site (Colchester) is closing on 31 December 2026 and as a result the Trust will close to applications from the Colchester area from January 2027 (deadline 4 December 2026).
Enovert’s Himley (Dudley) and Barling (Southend) landfill sites are now closed and as a result the Trust will close to new applications from these areas at its October 2026 meeting (deadline 4 September 2026). Bristol/South Glos, Sevenoaks, St Helens, the London Borough of Bexley, Wrexham and Swansea, are no longer covered by the Trust following the closure of waste management facilities, a change in ownership, or devolution of the landfill tax in Wales.
